I know it's been awhile since I've made an entry. What's going on you may (but probably not) ask?
Well...
I finished school last week. So far, I know I got a 100 on my History of Photography final (yay!) and got an A in the class. As far as my other classes, I didn't have to take my Child Growth and Development final since I had an A in that class, and one test gets dropped from the semester. I'm just waiting for grades for Technology in the Classroom and Fundamentals of Speech, both of which I'm pretty sure I have A's in, but we'll see!! I needed the little GPA push, I had a 3.429 before.
I want to transfer to DePaul, which I'll probably commute to.
Still working at ULTA, as I probably will be forever (or at least until I student teach). I'm up for a promotion, so we'll also see about that. It may be a little rough since I'll be full time again next semester, and if I get the manager position I'll be working 40 hour weeks, but I think I can handle it! Next semester I'm taking two English courses, Earth Science, and World Religions (with Dori), so I guess I will find out how heavy the course load will be.
I turn 21 in two weeks!!! Which is super exciting. I can't wait! And then, in January, I'm going to Vegas for a few days with my best friends. I've been saving, and I have about $2000 to spend while I'm there.
My sister is in town for two weeks, she just flew in today.
Other than that, life is pretty much the same. I've been reading LiveJournal, but still, anyone who reads this, catch me up with you!!

for my photography class, i have to write a research paper. my topic is due on tuesday.
now, i have no problem actually writing the paper, since i love writing. however, i can NOT PICK A FRIGGIN TOPIC. it's soooo difficult for me, i have no clue why. i talked to my teacher about it today, and he advised me to maybe figure out a photographer i like or something, but i still don't know.
any ideas anyone? please help!

my week has been pretty busy.
i joined a gym last month and it opened on friday. now, anyone who knows me knows i LOATH working out and i never enjoyed it.
...I LOVE IT NOW.
so weird. i'm at xsport fitness and it's wonderful! i've already gone three times this week and i'm also going tomorrow after work. i'm obsessed with the crossramp.
addition to my newly found love of working out, i've worked sunday, monday, tuesday, yesterday, today, i'm going in tomorrow, saturday, sunday, monday, and tuesday. i think i have wednesday off, then i work thursday early morning (like today, i worked 6-11:30 am then spent a hour at the gym), but then i have a wedding to go to on friday and saturday is my guelita's birthday party so i'm off work.
at least i'm getting a lot of hours. i could use it!!

if only i hadn't screwed around when i first started at clc and got two C's. my gpa could be better.
fall classes start on the 21st. not too thrilled. i feel like i'll be in school forever. oh wait, i will, since i'll be teaching it.

ozzfest is sunday and i'm kind of excited. i think it will be a good show and everything, i just don't really like tweeter or first midwest bank or whatever they're calling it today.
my sister is home for the next couple weeks.
summer school is okay.
work kind of sucks ass. it's not fun anymore and i'm considering leaving, even though i've been with the company for like a year and a half. i hardly get any hours so it's pointless right now, although i'm sure once school starts again in august i'll get more hours.
tonight the dori shinn and i are going to buffalo wild wings because i am now highly addicted to their trivia game and to their apple pie with ice cream.
tomorrow i work 8-3pm, and sunday i work 6-11am, which really sucks since that's the day of the concert but i will live.
i need to shower for work.

... i am so pissed about that B isn't not even funny.
Over the summer I'm taking English Comp II and American National Politics. Such fun.
Anyway. Tomorrow I am off to Vegas. I'll be back Thursday!
...oh. And Zac Hanson got MARRIED?!?! It blows my mind!

last night dori and kelly took pity on me and we went out
we went to this italian restaurant here in libertyville that one of my co-workers family owns (she's from italy) and her husband manages.
it was DELICIOUS. best italian food i've had in a long time.
then we went to see the davinci code which i actually thought was really good
it was nice to have a girls night out
